Muhammad Tanveer is the captain of Asian Cricket Club Qatar and one of the country’s most prolific cricketers. A right-hand middle-order batsman and handy off-spin bowler, he has dominated Qatar’s domestic scene as a leading run-scorer across multiple tournaments. He is the only person to score a 200 in a 50overs match in Qatar. Since making his T20 International debut in 2019, Tanveer has been a mainstay of Qatar’s batting lineup, amassing over 1,700 runs at an average in the 40s and maintaining a strike rate above 130, with a career-best of 88 not out. While primarily known for his batting, he also contributes as a part-time bowler and brings invaluable leadership experience to the national side.
