Mohammed Nadeem
Mohammed Nadeem is a seasoned slow left-arm orthodox spinner who has served domestic cricket in Qatar for over a decade, and is a great asset to the Asian Cricket Club. He is known for his conservative style persistently bowling tight lines, applying pressure, and taking crucial wickets at key moments. His “mean spell” has often turned games around when the opposition looks settled. In domestic circuits he has repeatedly won Best Bowler awards, finishing as the highest wicket-taker on several occasions. On the international stage for Qatar, Nadeem has been remarkably consistent. In 43 T20 Internationals he has claimed 44 wickets at an average of about 22.86, with an economy rate near 6.57, and a best figure of 4 for 10. In List A matches he has also delivered strong performances: 27 wickets in 17 matches at an average of roughly 21.70, including a best bowling in an innings of 5 for 18. Though batting is not his primary forte, he bats right- handed in the lower order and contributes useful resistance when needed, adding to his value as a match-impact player.
