Awais Malik (born October 23, 1982) is a seasoned cricketer for Asian Cricket Club Qatar. Historically, one of the faster bowlers in the club, he has also led the national side and, over time, transitioned into a role in the middle order to help stabilize and control innings. While batting is now his primary role, he still bowls when the captain needs breakthroughs. On the international front, Malik has represented Qatar between 2019-2020 in T20 Internationals, playing 18 T20Is in which he took 22 wickets with a best performance of 3 for 19. His bowling average is about 20.27 with an economy around 7.82 runs per over, indicating he can both pick wickets and maintain pressure. Despite that, his long association with the club, experience, and ability to contribute both with bat and ball make him an important senior figure for Asian Cricket Club Qatar.
